About M6PIZ - Zoe

My name is Zoe (M6PIZ). I am 23 and located in Stratford, East London. Initially I was introduced to the Amateur Radio hobby when my partner Mitchell became licenced. Although not initially interested in the hobby myself, I enjoyed listening to his QSO’s. In time I became interested after attending the Windmills on Air special event at the Royal Gunpowder Mills in Essex. I studied for my Foundation Licence, and sat my exam on the 8th of October 2013 at Loughton and Epping Forrest Amateur Radio Society (LEFARS). Since becoming licenced I enjoy attending the Harlow and District Amateur Radio Club. This is due to being able to socialise, as well as to use equipment which I would otherwise be unable to use. I can mostly be heard on the Buckhurst Hill repeater, GB3OY and the East London repeater, GB3EL.
